We really felt like having a good Schäufele today ... After looking through a few menus, we struck gold at the Einhorn. Already called at lunchtime and pre-ordered our food for the evening, which was ready on time and was easily packed into the cans by the hosts. We ate here for the first time, it won't be the last - the meat was tender, the dumplings delicious, the red cabbage and the salad good - recommendable! Thank you ??
Very friendly, humorous host couple. The inn is showing its age. Rustic, older furnishings in the rooms, noisy but cheap in the price and centrally located. Food is average.
Very good food and friendly service!
just fine!!!
Quaint ambience, delicious food, very good hosts. A restaurant to recommend, we were completely satisfied.
Great food and it tasted very good.
Outside on the street, quite noisy
Very delicious food and super nice and attentive service.
Nice Franconian restaurant a bit away from the pedestrian zone but very nice.
The best food
Nice atmosphere ... very recommendable .... Schäufele very well. We would love to come back
Nice host! Great food! Great room!
Good, homemade, down-to-earth food at a good price. Nice service.
I can only recommend ... it tastes like mom or even better grandma cooked traditionally ... 4 of us stopped here and would love to come back ... great traditional dishes ... traditional ambience ... chef totally adorable. ..stay as you are ...
Home-style restaurant with Franconian cuisine. The chef cooks himself. Price-performance ratio very good. Service is provided by the boss, who is extremely friendly. I will gladly come again.
Yes, what should I write. We were excited. We ate so delicious, a dream. Very nice hosts. Clear recommendation!
In our transit we were an evening in the said restaurant. We had ordered something to drink and a little something to eat, as we heard a moth from the restaurant that it was not a Pommesbude. After a short consultation with the nice landlady was then after reviewing the menu fries with Currywurst ordered. Even with this order, the host was outraged. Due to the absolutely unfriendly host, we will not recommend this place.
We were booked by my employer ... Cheap, but with good reviews ... The room had shared shower and toilet in the hallway. DS we did not want at the time of booking. Already staircase and hotel corridor were very dirty and unkempt. The room was worse. The beds were used and the sheets were stained. From the ceiling hung very old cobwebs in many places. The room was neither sucked nor swims ... The room smelled of old sweat. We did not accept the room and looked for another hotel.
Not new and quite simple standard - but, very good!
We stayed for the night in the Gasthaus zum Einhorn. The operators are very warm people, where you quickly feel welcome. Our room, especially the bathroom, is very old and the decor is broken in some places - with regard to the price for the night but absolutely fine, especially since the price is a very lovingly prepared breakfast is included. There is a star deduction because the bathroom could have been cleaner.
Excellent service, great food, super visit!!
Nice joint with friendly and kind personal, excellent food and fine local beer
Good decoration and good ambiance...problem with flyes because the. "main" river
the food was good, the service too. but after 2 hours i was told that this is a restaurant and not an office. they don't want me to stay there working on my laptop without consuming more (I already had drinks and food). Is that how you treat customers? I’ve never experienced this before… So be aware! Don’t work too much at the ‘Unicorn’. Big brother Alfred is watching you!! ;)
We went on a day trip to Kitzingen and were pleasantly surprised by 'The Unicorn'. Alfred is as amiable and genuinely friendly as he is lanky, and the cook (his wife?) came out of the kitchen to say hello and to take our order, giving recommendations. Her meatballs (Fleischkuechle) were on par with my Mum's, which I daresay is praise of the highest order.
This little" hole in the wall" was one of the most amazing hidden treasures Kitzingen had to offer. The proprietor, Alfred, has an amazing story of his own and we were glad to sit and eat and listen to his remarkable story. The food was terrific and Alfred's wife went out of her way to make us feel at home. When we arrived at his door he was getting ready to close but instead he welcomed us in with open arms. We will definately be going back to this quaint "little hole in the wall" again. I highly recommend this dining experience and his patented drink,....ask him about it.
